Cybercat (400), USA Jan 27, 2008 A beautiful, cloudy, reddish-brown with a nice thick tan head. Aroma is strong, malty and hoppy, with a good alcohol edge and fruit hints. Flavor is exceptionally smooth, more like a fine bourbon than a beer, with hints of fruit and butterscotch. It has a nice alcohol edge to it so you know that it is a high-gravity beer. This is one to be sipped and savored. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Apr 6, 2008 This is absolutely one of the finest domestic dubbels I have ever tried. The spices are just right and balanced with the rest of the niceties this beers is offering. Delectable brown sugar and candi flavors, dark fruits and a finish reminiscent of bubblegum. A perfect winter warmer. doubleipa (219), Georgia, USA Jan 24, 2005 Updated: Sep 22, 2006Wonderful Dubbel with very llittle head. Dark brown color with great malty aroma. Soft carbonation. with a distinctive spice taste. Shag (1777), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Jan 11, 2004 Wow! This quickly changed my impression of 5 Seasons! Hazy brown color with a thick head. Flavor was rich and malty with some Christmas spice, plums, raisins, and cherries. This was prefectly balanced. I'm glad I had the opportunity to sample this beer. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jan 15, 2005 Pours a reddish-brown color with good head. Malty aroma with fruity/bready tones from the Belgian yeast. Very well balanced in malt, hops, and carbonation. Not as much alcohol / warmth as other Dubbels. Nice, smooth drinkable Belgian.
