Commercial Description:
This is a dry yet full flavored Irish Style Stout, not heavy or sweet. We serve it with Nitrogen through a "sparkler" draught tap that gives it a long cascading "roll" of bubbles forming a dense whipped cream-like head yet keeps the carbonation appropriately low. Full flavors of coffee and chocolate abound, with a dry roasted finish.

From the tap, this brew is a rich deep brown, almost black, with a fine-bubbled and persistent head. Aroma is rich and stouty with strong smoky and coffee hints. Taste is strong and stouty, very smoky, coffee and chocolate undertones. Finish is smooth with some bitterness. Excellent, and highly recommended to all stout/porter fans.

Liked the name; looked right, nice and dark with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor was slightly creamy with the above flavor components. Creamy mouthfeel. Dry finish. Good for the style, but not great

Pint off nitro at brewery - Aroma of roasted chocolate malts and coffee soaking in rusty water. Pours black with a lasting creamy brown head and great lacing typical of a nitro. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is creamy but way too thin. Another tasty brew that nitro killed. When I mentioned this to the bartender, he said they were "Messin with the nitro to get the right taste." So they were aware of the issue.

Aroma holds mild roasted malt notes, higher levels of chocolate and coffee and a nearly tobacco-like whiff of aroma. Body is deep black and the head is a tightly compressed pinky sized affair with a mocha tint. Fore is smooth and creamy with mild roasted coffee notes and a big dose of milk chocolate. Very low bitterness. Pleasant.

Good Stout. Very dry and light. Lots of coffee, toffee and chocolate. Loved the head. Sadly enough it was my wife’s and I only stole a few sips. Sigh...she gets all the good beer.

Tap @ the 5. Nitro Pour. Black with a large creamy tan head. The aroma was filled with acoffee and malt. It smelled a little chalky. Coffee was the dominant flavor. there was a light tartness in the tail end of the beer. Light bitterness and a little thin on the finish. Light to medium bodied.

Uniform, creamy light tan head from nitro and a black body with reddish-brown highlights. Dark-chocolate aroma with medium roast and cigar notes. Mostly dry with some light acidity and moderate bitterness. Roast cuts through and builds to a degree. Decent dry stout overall.
