| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 19, 2007 A sweet, malty beer. Light fruit in the aroma and flavor. Cloudy with sediment. A simple Belgian ale, but the sweet malt and fruit taste better than most of the style. On tap common? Really? Skyview (4095), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2007 From a tall liter bottle, shared at JK’s Spring Gathering. Pours a heavy and deep mahogany with a creamy and light tan head. Aroma of Belgian caramel, honey malt, plums, brown sugar and some nutmeg. Taste of heavy sweet molases, toffee, pecans, and some chocolate. High on the alcohol. I could pick up some doughnut yeast with earthy hops. Palate is a little flat, maybe a slight acidic but has a smooth finish.
