| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 12, 2005 Light golden pour with small white head that diminished quickly. Aromas of malt and light in the hops. Flavor is crisp and clean with good balance of malt and hops. Not a great beer, but pretty true to style. skaughty (621), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 8, 2004 This is a crunchy one. The grains are evident from the nose to the tongue. The pour left a nice frothy head, like the cream sitting above lemon merengue pie. Some aroma of hay and lemon, with the flavor of cheerios. Finish was mild, as hop levels are muted. Clean, clear and refreshing. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 9, 2004 Nice mellow light dough taste with mellow yeastiness and a light straw taste that’s clean clear, crisp and refreshing. Man, I could drink a bunch of these. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2004 Very clear medium gold with a fleeting wisp of head. The beer was just put on and the brewer said he needed to up the carbonation, so that part may change for others. The malt flavor is surprisingly strong, a little bread in with the straw here. This makes for a better taste, but perhaps makes it a little less drinkable and less crisp. Light bitterness in the finish. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2004 Draft, shaker glass. Grain, light bread malt (L); earthy hops (VL). Pale gold body with a quickly diminishing frothy, white head. Moderately sweet flavor becomes a lightly sweet, lightly bitter finish. Grainy finish, but on par with other Kolsch's I've had. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: it doesn't rock my world but it makes for a decent enough session.
