| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2005 The description on the menu was that this beer was a cross between an English Pale Ale and an ESB. I thought they did a pretty good job at it: the balance between malt & hop is good. The aroma is very nice. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 11, 2004 Light gold color with a medium bitterness in the hop bite. Nicely balanced by the perfect combinations of malt. Medium bodied with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Best brewery in Atlanta hands down. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Hopping initially comes across mildly, but then builds. Very lightly sweet. Light body. Nice balance. wunderbier (1271), Tampere, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2004 Updated: Mar 31, 2005A very shy cascade aroma and flavor. Malt presence is also understated. Lightly bitter flavor. Watery flavor/mouthfeel really is the biggest detractor here.
I didn’t take notes on this last night, but I tried it again. Seemed more flavorful than my previous experiences with it. Moved the score up from a 3.0 hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2003 Draft at 5 Seasons. This beer had a small sized tan head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body was softly carbonated and transparent with an orange hue. The nose was that of light hops and some fruity notes. The flavor was lightly bitter, and a very mild hoppy taste. The mouthfeel was smooth and this was a light bodied beer with a fair lacing. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 16, 2003 TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 31. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. Dennis, the owner, treated us royally. He kept bringing sample after sample to our table. We were given every courtesy and treated very well. Thanks to their fine staff. This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that left behind good lace and a transparent softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The aroma was mildly malted and missing the usual Pale Ale hop notes. The mouthfeel was also missing the typical hop bite and was more malty than hoppy. The flavor was nice and mellow for a Pale Ale and I highly reccommend it for non-hop heads. It is one of the better low hopped APA's out there. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 10, 2003 Bronze color with creamy head and lots of lacing. Aroma is filled with hops, screaming up with a very american hop profile. The flavor isn't too balanced as the hops are a tad too spicy compared to the malt, maybe this one fermented a bit too dry. It isn't bad, but i've had a fair share of APA's and there's lots better.
