Jul 27, 2003 Best of the beers I had at the 5 Seasons brewpub in Atlanta. Reading the description on the menu "Blending Extra Bitter and IPA" made me believe I was in for a hopfest, but that was not the case. Slight hop presence and a little more complex than the Sisters and Alt beers but nothing to write home about. This brewpub is a nice place to eat, play pool, etc but the beers are lacking. Overall this one was ok.

Jun 14, 2003 Nice amber color. Not much hop aroma in this one. Slight hop bite that dies quickly. A little the light side of the style.

May 25, 2003 Updated: Sep 30, 2005Rerate A bit better now, a bit more ctrusy hoppiness noted and a fresh floral aroma. Original 2.9 Overall, a very mellow ale. Had a light amber appearance and slighly hoppy aroma. Nothing here to get too excited about. This would make a good session ale. Overall, 5 Seasons is a great establishment - knowledgable staff - the beer is just a little too tame.

Aug 25, 2002 Just like aracauna said, this is a very timid APA. The hoppiness is there in the background but seems too shy to come out and play.

May 30, 2002 Updated: Nov 15, 2003Heavy hops on the nose. I'd like a bit more malt to balance out the hops. There are some slight esters in the flavor that I noticed towards the end. Not a bad beer, but a very timid APA.
