Commercial Description:
A golden lager in the traditional Munich brewing style. This is what you find on tap in Bavaria instead of a Pilsener. With more malt character and less hop bitterness than a pilsener, our Helles is full flavored but crisp. Slightly lighter bodied than our Seven Sisters Münchner.

Clear light orange in color, thin white head. Bready and sweet. No real bitterness to be seen.

Clear golden color with a foamy white head. Sweet, bready malt aroma. Flavor is nicely-balanced sweet maltyness with a biscuity aftertaste. I really wanted to try the hefeweizen but they didn’t have it on tap that day :(

clear golden yellow, whispy white head, nice lace, candy sweet malt aroma, nice sweet malt flavor, light bitterness in the finish, good balance for a sweet beer, more flavor than I’d expect from a hellis

Draft at the Sandy Springs location, poured a light golden color, nice thin head, retention, and lacing. The aroma was honey, biscuits, grains. The flavor was much of the same, nothing really fancy. Mouthfeel was fairly crisp and clean with a light lingering maltiness with a touch of grass.

Color is rich amber, like the typical American lager but with a depth such brews lack. Smell is strong and invitingly beery. Taste is very good, with no bitterness and just a whisper of sweetness. It feels as smooth as the proverbial silk and goes right down easily. A good starter beer!

Clear gold pour. Thin off-white head. Nice lacing though. Flavor is a bit sweet, a bit fruity, totally non-offensive. Nearly every brew pub has it’s lager-esque brew, some are total crap, others are respectable, this is one of the respectable ones.

Tap. Apple/orange malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet apple malt flavor. Nice body especially for the style. A very well made Helles.
