Commercial Description:
A golden lager in the traditional Munich brewing style. This is what you find on tap in Bavaria instead of a Pilsener. With more malt character and less hop bitterness than a pilsener, our Helles is full flavored but crisp. Slightly lighter bodied than our Seven Sisters Münchner.

Color is rich amber, like the typical American lager but with a depth such brews lack. Smell is strong and invitingly beery. Taste is very good, with no bitterness and just a whisper of sweetness. It feels as smooth as the proverbial silk and goes right down easily. A good starter beer!

Tap. Pours a clear deep golden with a one finger white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of Vienna and sweet malt with a hint of floral hops in the finish. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and a crisp finish. Damn good

Dark gold body with a white head. The aroma was meaty with some bread. There was also some rich almond notes in this one. The taste was rich biscuit with some almond shell. Nice clean, dry finish.

A very good representation of the style. Just enough malt and just enough hops to really make this a fine light beer. Not bad for the ladies who like good beer but don’t want a malt gut. G-rat

Hazy pour, with some froth and fair lacing. The aroma s of hay, cereal and (mildly) sour milk. The flavor is very "grainy", almost like rye or wheat. The hops are there, and do an excellent job of keeping this honest and balanced. This is probably a little "toasty" for the style, but the taste is so fresh.

Clear light orange in color, thin white head. Bready and sweet. No real bitterness to be seen.

Tap at 5 seasons. Pour is very light gold, crystal clear, good carbonation and a nice pure white head. Aroma is bready pils malt, light crackers, and fresh light herbal spicy German hops. Flavor is mostly clean fresh pils malt with some light sweetness and finishes with a clean hop bitterness. Overall very clean, full bodied for a helles, and smooth. Nice Helles.

Surprisingly big crisp malt. I wasn't expecting something quite this tasty. Light citrusy hops add a little bitterness and make this an extremely refreshing brew without resorting to cheap brewing tricks.
