Commercial Description:
Alert: This Amber Ale has a deep garnet red hue. The juicy malt backbone is balanced by the citrusy character of the Centennial hops. You need to try this one. It’s for your own safety.

Appearance: Clear, ruby-red body with a thin, bubbly off-white head. Smell: Caramel malts and plenty of sweet, stove-top-cooked fruits with a reserved, though noticeable hint of citrus. Taste: Again, plenty of strong, juicy fruits flavors along with caramel malts and that ever-present citrus character which hightens on the mildy bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Mild carbonation. Drinkability: A pleasant, fresh-tasting amber ale that’s quite drinkable.

muddy burnt orange, frothy beige head, drops of lace, light caramel malt aroma with light floral hops, big creamy body, mild caramel malt flavor, lots of yeasty bready character, plenty of balancing hops to keep it honest without being hoppy, over time richer malt flavor develops and brings in more toasted bread crust, a hint of chocolate appears and disappears, some nice sweetness appears towards the bottom of the second pint

coming off richer from the start this week, sweetness is still tempered a bit

More of a copper in color than an amber. In the aroma, caramel malt comes through in spades along with a distinct citrus note in the aroma from the hops. Still more malt sweetness than hop bitterness in the flavor.

This was a good batch. Very fresh, of course, and really hit a good note with me. Beer had a small head, dark maple color, clear, very carbonated. Smelled of hops, burnt carmel, bread. Tasted strong of hops, almost a little too much for my tastes. Reminded me of a Sam Adams, only slightly stronger. The beer went nicely with the pizza and bread I had at the 5 Seasons! I recommend this one to anyone who likes Amber beers or brown ales.

Cask @ the 5SN. Ruby red amber color. Nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus hops. Rich caramel malts, followed by heavenly bitter hop finish. These pints went down just to easy!
