rich dry dark chocolate flavor, plenty of roasted malt giving of a nice coffee character, good bitterness in addition to the roasted leading to a long lasting bitter finish

Jul 22, 2007 Pretty much opaque. Rich roasty malts, brownies and coffee. This is near perfection. Rich, but not so much so that it’s not drinkable. Incredibly good stout.

Jun 16, 2007 Updated: Jun 18, 2007On tap at the brewpub in Alpharetta. Dark black pour, fluffy mocha colored head. Whiffs of fresh earth and coffee in the aroma. Solid dry earthy, dark chocolate flavor. Just the right amount of chalkiness in the mouthfeel. Solid brewpub stout.
