unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Apr 4, 2007 Hazy garnet color. Very nice lacing! rich nutty, malt flavor. light bitterness. sweet like boiled peanuts. smooth, light-medium bodied. Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Mar 21, 2007 Excellent! The cloudy dark brown color is inviting, and the aroma is decidedly ale-ish and smoky. Flavor is mild and free of bitterness, but vivid and with smoky and nutty undertones. Smooth as a baby’s cheek, this is a delightfully drinkable ale, the sort that you sip.
