Commercial Description:
This is a Belgian-style Golden Ale. It has a pale gold color, is soft on the palette and has an intriguing spiciness imparted by the Belgian yeast. It is unfiltered and, therefore, cloudy in appearance. (Don’t panic, that is just yeast – which is mainly vitamin B – and we don’t charge extra for it.) If the flying monkeys scene scared you in the Wizard of Oz this beer will calm your nerves. And bonus points if you order this beer in the Flemish.

Not much flavor on this one. On the palate remembers a kind of belgian beer in the begining but desapears quickly. It is refreshing. Not a great beer, but is allright

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, burnished gold body with a very thin ring of white bubbles. Smell: Lightly sweet-smelling malt aroma with the obligatory scent of bananas. Notes of spice and flowers. Taste: Sweet maltiness with some cereal hints. Soft floral overtone. A little bit of spice, a little bit of bitterness. Bittersweet finish. As it warms, the alcohol becomes a bit more pronounced. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a relatively mild carbonation which helps the slightly sticky mouthfeel stand out a bit more. Drinkability: It’s alright, but I dare say there are better beers to be had at 5 Seasons North.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a touch of haziness. Aroma of sweet malt and flavors. Flavor was similar with some spice. Pretty nondescript for the style. Just ok.

Looks like your basic yellow/gold brew in the glass. Nice lacing. Sharp bite in the back of the throat. Does have creamy, medium body to it.

opaque light orange, thin fine cream head, thick drippy lace, sweet fruity aroma with a light floral character, nice sweet malt flavor, touch of fruity character with a nice bunch of bananas, light bitterness adds a bit of balance, light spicyness, a nice flavorful golden ale but hopefully not too much flavor for people who order beer by color

Enjoyed this at the 5SN Grand Opening. Milky, golden color. It is curious how hazy this beer is. Very sweet flavors. Easy to drink. Light bodied.
