Commercial Description:
Freudian Slip Vienna Lager Subconsciously you desire this beer. This beautiful, stunning lager is nice to look at in its tall, thin, shapely glass. It has a light amber color, like a strawberry blonde. It has a firm, supple, creamy head. It is smooth, but with great body. It’s malty, sweet aroma lingers like a lover’s scent on a pillow. It will leave you wanting, desiring more. (How’s that for some Freudian Slips?) But seriously, it is brewed with German malted barley, European noble hops and lagered for two months. Enjoy.

Tap @ the 5. Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Semi-sweet malty aroma with light toffee, yeast and some hops. The malty flavor had a light sweetness and a hop finish. Nutty with a mildly bitter and crisp finish. Yeasty flavors as well. Semi-dry with a long finish.

On tap on 2/26/07: Pours a hazy bronze copper with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Lightly sweet, grainy, toasty Vienna malty nose has a touch of German hops and a hint of citrus. Body starts fairly full with a nice toasty caramel malty sweetness and a good, lightly citrusy hoppy bitterness for balance. A nice brew.

Served in a tall, thin and narrow, handled glass. Amber color. Very easy drinking! Balanced and light bodied.
