Aroma is spicy and has a decided overtone of pumpkin. Flavor is richly of pumpkin and malt with hints of cloves and cinnamon and a hoppy undertone. Flavor is really well balanced. Pumpkin flavors are nice and subtle. Cinnamon and nutmeg spices come through near the end. The finish is slightly bitter. Smell: Aroma of spiced caramel and fresh pumpkin innards.
Taste: Rich, sweet caramel malts with a touch of breadiness. Very fresh-tasting pumpkin flavor with a blip of tart fruitiness. Subdued cinnamon spice character and a touch of earthy bitterness. The sweetness gets a second wind and picks back up for the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Very mild carbonation.
Drinkability: A very nice pumpkin ale full of flavor and good, wholesome fun.
