Transparent copper with a thin wispy off-white head. Has a dry earthy buckwheat aroma. Body is thin, very drinkable and earthy with some cookie dough flavor and an earthy mild hop bitterness. The finish is watery and bland. An interesting recipe, but the results are pretty uninteresting.

Dark brown with an ok head. Light bodied, but malty flavor (I guess from the buckwheat tea since I’m not sure you can get a beer this malty and light bodied at the same time otherwise.) Earthy and a bit like a bran muffin in flavor. This would make an excellent session beer.
