Commercial Description:
Named after the original seven Munich breweries that hosted Oktoberfest, THE beer celebration dating back to 1571. It is a deep rich amber Bavarian Lager (known as a Vienna Style to beer aficionados) with a full, round voluptuous body and a very malty finish. Enjoy with pork, roast chicken, sausages and mixed grills.

Tap at brewpub: Coppery with a small head and good lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, toast, yeast, light noble hop, and herbal vapours. The taste is roasty and vanilla, twangy and acidic midway and a herbal grassy finish. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing, dry finish. An okay session Vienna bier but needs more depth.

Pretty enjoyable, I am glad this is on tap everytime I visit Atlanta. This is always a good first beer of the evening at the brewery. Hoppy, somewhat herbal nose and just a hint of sweet caramel as well. Pretty savory on the palate, with some sweet breadiness, but could have just a bit more fruit characters.

From tap at brewpub : A big spicey malty smell. Pours clear dark amber color with good lacing and half finger head. Spices and malt on the taste side. Medium body wtih a very smooth feel. Not much aftertaste. I really liked this one.

My Bottom Line:
Toasted bready malts provide both crispness and caramel sweetness in this creamy and highly sessionable Vienna. This is the kind of beer which truly showcases this brewer’s prowess.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear amber.
-Carbonation is smooth enough to let all those malts express their inner beauty.
-Some fruitiness seeps from the caramel maltiness.
-All flavors’ subtleties are perfectly integrated; this is not one for the high octane lover, but rather a delicious pint of humility.

On tap at the brewpub.

Moderately roasty and sweet with a complement of mild hoppiness. Finish is very malty and full. Good session beer.
