Copper colour. Silky, creamy foam. Good malt character, bit sweetish caramel malt. Dry, puckering bitterness/mouthfeel. Big flavour profile, nice and yummy. Big amount of flavouring hops(almost phenolic taste to it). Good malt and hop balance in flavour, yet again that papery bitterness I find an many 7-Stern beers. Chocolate or cocoa powder. Long, papery bitterness.
rlgk (3011), Motala, Sweden Aug 8, 2008 Draught. Golden color, white head. Malty vegetable aroma, sweetish and with some dough. Malty, crisp flavor, some bread, some hoppy notes. Bready and somewhat hoppy finish. dunkpigen (274), Kolding, Denmark Jul 29, 2008 Pour beautyful dark golden with a nice big creamy offwhite head. Aroma is malty, with some hay and some butter/toffee. Ok mouthfeel but almost no carbonation. Flavour is malt, caramel and flowery hops. pivnizub (3770), Porúří, Germany Jul 21, 2008 On draught at the brewpub: hazy, lively carbonation, reddish-amber coloured, very stable, very persistent big off-white head; sweet Saaz hops cover a delicate toasted-malty base in the aroma; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; sweet toasted-malty finish with a very good dash of aromatic Saaz hops. Gorgeous brew......... Theis (2018), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear orange/amber - offwhite head. Nice sweet malty body, medium hoppy, fruity, caramel, grassy, light wood, sharpness, dry finish. Lovely. thewolf (3490), Kolding, Denmark Jul 13, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub, Vienna.
Pours hazy amber with a giant, creamy, off-white head. Actually grows slowly - very impressive - because of a lot of bubbles in the liquid. Aroma is slightly dry, weak caramel and some slight hay. Okay mouthfeel, surprisingly, it’s quite low carbonated. Flavour has a little cardboard, some caramel and light flowery hoppiness. Looks impressive, but really isn’t.
