Comments: An absolutely delicious and underrated märzen. Superbly extracted and evolving Vienna malts. Foamy, expanding carbonation. Soft, floral, suave hops. Marvellously balanced, strongly toasty, yet dry and without any diacetyl. Dried cookies in glorious shape. Fresh, grainy, pure. Awesome stuff.

Aug 27, 2008 Drank several times at the brewpub in 2006. The best lager I had in Austria. An amber, Vienna-type beer, with rich amber malt flavor but a good deal of hopping to back it up. Rich and flavorful yet refreshing and very drinkable. Top-rate stuff.

Aug 8, 2008 Draught. Golden color, white head. Malty vegetable aroma, sweetish and with some dough. Malty, crisp flavor, some bread, some hoppy notes. Bready and somewhat hoppy finish.

Jul 29, 2008 Pour beautyful dark golden with a nice big creamy offwhite head. Aroma is malty,with some hay and some butter/toffee. Ok mouthfeel but almost no carbonation. Flavour is malt, caramel and flowery hops.

Jul 21, 2008 On draught at the brewpub: hazy, lively carbonation, reddish-amber coloured, very stable, very persistent big off-white head; sweet Saaz hops cover a delicate toasted-malty base in the aroma; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; sweet toasted-malty finish with a very good dash of aromatic Saaz hops. Gorgeous brew.........
