Gregis (911), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Dec 14, 2007 On tap at the Power Plant Strong Ale Festival 12/8/07. Pours a murky dark chocolate brown with a thin, creamy, tan head. The aroma is a big malty blend of raisin and cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, with fine carbonation, the palate finishes with a lightly dry and "warm" finish. Uber sweet, the flavor follows the nose: big and malty with dominant notes of raisins and chocolate leading to a sweet yet vinous finish. This one is quite tasty, but it’s a tad too sweet for my tastes.

Pours muddy brown with a khaki head.
Aromas of cooked sugars, cherries, and other dark fruits.
Tastes like chocolatey raisins and burnt sugar. A bit of a sweet finish.
Full body. Average carbonation. Sweet finish.
Easily one of the best that 75th Street has made.
