Courtesy jayg. Thanks man. Pours a deep red with a small off white head. Really nice looking. Big caramel and maltiness. I was attacked by the malts with fruit backing them up. Almost had a tomato smell to it too. Interesting. Huge malty and sweet caramel flavor. Full bodied with a sugary finish. Thick on the palate, aftertaste is big malts and caramel. Lovely.

Thanks a million for sharing this beer Jason Rawles! The beer pours to a deep red/garnet body with a creamy tan head. The aroma is simply unreal! Super concentrated caramelized malt, peaty, smoky, sweet dark chocolate, strawberry seeds. The flavor is something else too. Sweet, smoky, chocolate malt. So very complex that words don’t do this beer justice. Sugary sweet. Unfreaking real. Perfect creamy, really full bodied, lingering palate.

Bottle. [Thanks to Rastacouere for sharing] Average beige fizzy head that mostly diminished. Spar lacing. Mahogany colour. Rye bread, caramel, dry fruit and some burned and light smoked notes as well. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour with light bitterness. Sweet and lingering finish. Quit nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Rastacouere. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a yellowish brown head. Sweetish, roasted malt with lovely burned caramel in the nose. Extremely intense and full body with sweetish, burned caramel notes. Some bitterness in the finish. Lovely. 090507

Big thanks to beerbuzzmontreal for sending this to me. The aroma is of wort, brown sugar, light hops, and mollasses. Deep brown body with red hues and a nice thick brown head. Ful and extrememly creamy mouthfeel. Lots of toffee, caramel, and gentle hop flavors. Very complex taste. A nice roasted flavor comes through as it warms a bit. This one is to be savored.

Strong scotch ale. This has a brown appearance and a thin palate. Nice flavors of both chocolate and coffee. Strong chocolate aroma.

From a 12oz Bottle. Pours a transparent coppery mahogany color with a thin layer of creamy beige head. Great raisiny nose with some deep caramelized sugars and edgings of molasses. Full bodied, softly carbonated body thats soft, chewy, and heavy without being overly cloying or sticky. Semi-sweet peaty malt flavors with loads of toffee and caramelized malt sugars. Dry, refined finish, maintaining those great sweetly smokey malt characters without getting sticky. Thanks, Mike!
