A barley-wine style, strong and blond beer.
Estonians have brewed great beer since ancient times. The barley wine type ale is more than just a beer to quench thirst. Its special full taste and mature and strong hop flavour do not reveal the actual strength of the beer making it a delicious gulp for those who know a little more of the beer secrets. BARLEY WINE IS A BEER THAT COMES FROM THE TIMES WHEN SHIPS WERE MADE OF WOOD AND MEN OF IRON.

(Bottled, 1.0l) Clear golden color with a small head and some lace. Sweet and grainy-malty aroma with some smooth and vinous alcohol. Very malty, sweetish and toffeeish flavor with evident but smooth alcohol and low bitterness, plus some yeast hints. Medium-bodied, slicky and moderately alcoholic palate with low carbonation. Actually, it’s quite drinkable for such a strong Estonian brew. Don’t really get the bottle size, though...
