Rich and creamy on the mouthfeel, with some bittersweet chocolate notes, and a hint of roasted coffee. Well rounded and not overly sweet. The strange thing is why this stout is not rated higher. 49markan097 (9), USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Poured black as night with a tan head. Aroma and taste of that second blessed drink, coffee. Mild, mild hint of chocolate. Palate was thin, lacking body. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

It did have a moderately good mouth-feel. muenster (341), Sevierville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Draught. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy head. Looks great. Aroma is full of dark chocolate, roasty malts, and coffee. Flavor is sweet chocolate, coffee beans, and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Manages to be, in turns, both sweet and bitter, and although the balance can be a bit strange, it’s quite enjoyable indeed. dchmela (1466), Orlando, Florida, USA
