this is one of my favorite stouts ever...dark, smooth, robust, just a little sweet...mmmm...

Delicious stout... roasty malt, slight chocolate with some nutty, creamy tones that balance everything out quite well. I can see it's porter-esqueness; fairly rich with a pretty big roasty sweetness. Good stuff.

This was just a delicious stout. Rich and smooth and creamy, with some nice mellow roastiness.

Draught. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy head. Looks great. Aroma is full of dark chocolate, roasty malts, and coffee. Flavor is sweet chocolate, coffee beans, and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Manages to be, in turns, both sweet and bitter, and although the balance can be a bit strange, it’s quite enjoyable indeed.

Had the opportunity to check this out this week. An excellant stout, roast tones, no chocolate, very well done

Nitro... Pitch black ale with a mid-sized, creamy, beige head. Terrific retention. Mocha aroma. The flavor is of coffee and chocolate. Moderately burnt and bitter. Lightly acidic. Medium-bodied and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes bitter, malty (caramel/toffee) and then dry.

Near black with a nitro head. Pruney aroma with light chocolate accents and slight fruitiness. Good chocolate malt character with light dark fruit notes to add some nuance. Smooth body. Off-dry finish.

Pours black with a tan head. Has a roasted coffee and faint chocolate aroma. Taste is mildly roasted and sweet, seems a little thin but not bad overall.
