Commercial Description:
Painstaking effort by our brewer in the selection of 6 different malts and 4 varieties of hops result in this burnished brown ale. Roasted barley and chocolate malt give this beer a rich balance of flavors, while added wheat provides a lively, long-lasting head. Like its namesake, this bridge is worth waiting for!

This is a real good dark beer good flavor real smooth, caramel and roasted malts with a sweet mollasses finish, it’s my favorite beer from there and i’ve tasted them all, i get it everytime i’m in there, once or twice a week.

Draught. Pours reddish/brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is full of caramel, and is sweet and nutty, with ample malty thickness. Flavor has some nice roastiness, as well as sweeter caramel notes, and a good hop profile. Probably one of the best brown ales I’ve had.

Light toasted malt notes with a slightly nutty fruit accented accompaniment. The body is a ruddy brown and holds a lasting tan head. Toasted malt, light coffee notes, hints of caramel and a bracing burnt malt bitterness in the finish. Fairly good brown ale.

Rich dark brown with thick, rocky tan head. Fresh aroma is nutty, smooth, and dry. Thin finish but it was served too cold and needed to warm to bring out the body. Medium to high carbonation. Nice nuttiness persists throughout and finishes dry.

Sampler at brewpub pours brown, off white head. Aroma is malty some roast and light chocolate. Taste, light caramel malts, with nutty palate and some chocolate. Light in body but with some nice roastiness. Easy to drink and taste.

Brown pour, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor was surprisingly good...caramel, nuts, brown sugar, syrup, and an odd but good yogurty quality. I don’t like many brown ales, but this one was pretty tasty.

Draft... Clear dark caramel-colored ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is mostly of caramel with a generous helping of earthy hops thrown in for good measure. The flavor leans slightly and pleasantly on the bitter side of balance with additional notes of caramel, cocoa and toffee. Medium to full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Finishes toasty and lightly bitter.

Draft at Florida Brewers Guild Beer Fest 2008. Full rating updated as soon as I am more coherent.
