Sampler at brewpub Pours light copperish, thin white head. Aroma and taste, lightly hoppy, with light malts and hints of caramel and some spiced, citrus fruit hops. Nothing spectacular, but was really enjoyable and easy to drink.

(Rating #2268)

On tap at the Florida Brewers Guild BeerFest 2009. Pours hazy deep gold with thin white head. The mild aroma has a little bit of malt sweetness, some earthiness and some citrus. The taste is earthy, tobacco and backed up by a light amount of malt sweetness. About midway I get a pulse of grapefruit hop bitterness and pineapple joining the other notes to create a rather interesting mixture of flavors here. It starts to taste like it may have some guava too. Yes, very interesting.

The aroma is light hops and malt. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. This is one rather unmemorable beer. It is pretty much average right down the middle.

Clear golden pour. Mild hops in the aroma, floral and citrus. Some weird and nasty macro-metallic flavors going on as well. Average mouthfeel.

Sampled at brewpub. Pour was a nice amber color. Smell was caramel and figs. Flavor was pretty much sticky pine and citrus, with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. Did not care for this at all.
