The aroma is sweet caramel and....pickle juice. Massive amounts of pickle juice. At first I thought the bartender had opened a jar of pickles, but no it was the beer. The body is a bright and attractive amber color which holds a finger thick white head. Big malt fore gives candied white fruits and a strong hop dose. Quite juicy feeling with strong floral notes. Not exactly bitter, but well hopped.

Draft... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. I’m not able to pull much from the nose other than restrained notes of citrus-grapefruit. The flavor is metallic and almost heavily bitter. Solid malt with a whisper of butterscotch, but hopped to high Hell. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes buttery and heavily bitter. True to style, but it’s a train wreck of hops.

On draft at the beer festival. This beer pours a nice copper color and had a small white head. It has a nice hoppy aroma. Not a bad drinker, I actually liked this draft over a competitor’s "IPA". Nice job.

Draught at 11th Southern Brewers Festival in Chattanooga. Pours copper with a tall creamy light tan head. Fruity floral berry hop aroma dominates with faint malt (meal, grain) notes. Yeasty moderately acidic rind hop and caramel malt flavor that gets quickly overrun by the hops. Medium bodied and creamy palate.

Draft sample at the Southern Brewers Festival (9/2005). Sadly they were having trouble with the keg went I went to get my sample and the lady who was in charge of pouring really had no idea how to pour a beer to begin with. By the time I got my sample it was a bit flat. I rated it anyhow. Orange/amber color that was actually fairly dark with a generous head. The aroma was hoppy but soapy as well. Not unpleasant, just different. The flavor had sweet hints of malt, followed by lightly citrus hops. The body was medium and creamy. Easy drinking. Sessionable…perhaps…

Draft. Amber beer with a big whitish head. Floral/citrus hop aroma. Nice hop flavor (again citrus/floral). A little malt backing. Easy to drink.

Golden Amber in color with a nice lacing white head. The aroma is bready malt dominated with a slight floral hop scent hanging out in the background. The flavor is similar with a toasted bread flavor balanced with some hop bitterness. The beer has decent body and a nice lingering aftertaste. This was the Florida made beer I had on this trip of three breweries.
