Draft... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. I’m not able to pull much from the nose other than restrained notes of citrus-grapefruit. The flavor is metallic and almost heavily bitter. Solid malt with a whisper of butterscotch, but hopped to high Hell. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes buttery and heavily bitter. True to style, but it’s a train wreck of hops.

Sep 14, 2008 On tap at the brewpub.Poured a clear copper color. Hoppy nose with a hoppy, bitter flavor.Nothing special here.Finished off hoppy and bitter.

Sep 5, 2008 Sampled at brewpub. Pour was a nice amber color. Smell was caramel and figs. Flavor was pretty much sticky pine and citrus, with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. Did not care for this at all.

Jun 4, 2008 Floral hop aroma, with a weak and mild malt background. Not very bitter, but dry on the palate, with some very light caramel flavor, strong citrus fruits, and not much else going on.

does not count  Apr 4, 2008 Copper to amber in apperance. This draft displayed cream colored head and lively effervescence. Lacked aroma. Citrusy notes with a bitter, unintersting hoppy after taste.

Mar 16, 2008 Pours a light copper color with an off white head. Has a strong floral aroma which is present in the taste but is a bit week. I didnt think this one was very good for an APA.
