Pours amber with off-white head.
Aroma is hoppy piney, malty with some citrus fruits.
Taste, hoppy, malty with light notes of caramel. Seemed to be getting a lot more sweetness in the palate than in the aroma.
Fizzy palate for a light bitter hoppy finish.
Wasn’t really impressed bu it. jcwattsrugger (5308), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Nice amber colored brew with an off white wispy head. Hopy and crisp aroma. Mineral infused malt that is fairly roasty. Hoppy earthy flavor with notes of pine. The malt is just enough to let the hops take center stage but it also imparts a pleasant roatyness. Medium body, semi-dry. Quite nice. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 24, 2008 A copper color with a rather large head. The aroma is malty but also contains quite a bit of citrus notes. This one was pretty hoppy for an amber ale. The flavor contained some caramel and citrus such as grapefruit and oranges. The finish was rather bitter. Overall a pretty darn good beer.
