Also a bit hoppier than I was looking for in the style, but it works for this beer. Its never over the top, and would make a great session beer.. Medium bodied with some roasted caramel maltiness, and a dusting of citrus hops in the finish. Decent. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA

It has a lightly roasted lightly sweet malt aroma that is so light it is tough to pick up any other aromatic cues. The taste is roasty and mildly malt sweet along with faint citrus and pine hops. It then blends into faint grainy Munich like malts and breadiness. Into the finish I get medium roasted maltiness and a hint of caramel sweetness leaving a nice reminder of the flavor profile. Very sessionable. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Supposably their hoppiest beer, this was lacking in flavor and carbonation boasting an almost water-like texture and mouth feel. Steer clear of this beer! muenster (341), Sevierville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Draught. Pours not-quite clear amber with a small head. Aroma is a bit mild, but some nice malts come though, and a bit of unexpected hops as well. Flavor has a great thick maltiness, with a good dash of hops, and some fruitiness. There’s also some almost Scotch Ale-like qualities that make this one a winner. dchmela (1458), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2007 I think this is the best of the A1A beers. Nice red color with hoppy citrus aroma. The malt helps smooth out the taste, but you still get some of the hops on the back of the tongue. Very nice.
