brentfeesh (903), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Aug 26, 2008 Sampled at Southern Brewers Festival 2008. Probably my favorite of the day. Nice amber colored brew with an off white wispy head. Hopy and crisp aroma. Mineral infused malt that is fairly roasty. Hoppy earthy flavor with notes of pine. The malt is just enough to let the hops take center stage but it also imparts a pleasant roatyness. Medium body, semi-dry. Quite nice. Shag (1769), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Aug 24, 2008 A copper color with a rather large head. The aroma is malty but also contains quite a bit of citrus notes. This one was pretty hoppy for an amber ale. The flavor contained some caramel and citrus such as grapefruit and oranges. The finish was rather bitter. Overall a pretty darn good beer. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jun 4, 2008 This one had a little bit more flavor than I was expecting. Also a bit hoppier than I was looking for in the style, but it works for this beer. Its never over the top, and would make a great session beer.. Medium bodied with some roasted caramel maltiness, and a dusting of citrus hops in the finish. Decent. Ibrew2or3 (1685), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Mar 20, 2008 Pours clear copper with healthy tan head. It has a lightly roasted lightly sweet malt aroma that is so light it is tough to pick up any other aromatic cues. The taste is roasty and mildly malt sweet along with faint citrus and pine hops. It then blends into faint grainy Munich like malts and breadiness. Into the finish I get medium roasted maltiness and a hint of caramel sweetness leaving a nice reminder of the flavor profile. Very sessionable. Guinness4Duff (464), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Mar 16, 2008 Pours a nice amber color with an off white head. I liked this one, has a nice bitterness to it and is very flavorful with some nicely balanced sweetness.
