yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 20, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours orange and clear with a lacing white head. Sweet hay nose. Caramel malty with a metallic note. Dry grainy/malty finish with a little bitterness blending in. Boring.
Allen (559), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Aug 5, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a copper colored beer. Mediocre malty citrussy nose with a hint of chestnuts. Sweet malty taste. Low bitterness. Slightly vinous? Some dried fruits, nougat and peanuts showing up. Poor lacework. Boring. Astringent. Definately a Vienna - a mediocre one. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 2, 2008 Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Cloudy amber color. It has a light chestnut honey aroma and a light cereals taste, and as often for generic Amber beers, there’s not much more. MiP (4937), Flensburg, Germany Dec 24, 2007 Bottle, 5.0%. Weak, citric malt aroma. Hazy, orange/amber colour. The flavour is quite mild, slightly citric, but with OK naturtrüby yeast flavour. High carbonation. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Slightly hazy amber golden with tiny impurities and a small, off-white head. Lightly fruity and caramelish nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and some lovely fruity notes. Dry finish. 150807
