Fynske Øldage 2005, Odense. This stout should lean towards an Imperial stout, but I do not think it does that very well. The color is very dark brown, its sweetish, lightly dry and bitter with discrete notes of licorice and coffee. It seems atypical in a way, and I wonder if something was wrong with that bottle...

Sampled at EBF2008. 2008 edition. Pours a darkbrown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee and licorice. The flavor is roasted malts and a little spices. The mouthfeel is roasted and overall impression is ok.

Bottled, 2007 version, bought in Aarhus supermarket. Dark color, thin head. Aroma of some roasted malt, bit hop, some dark chocolat, laurel, but all quite thin. Taste is very very watery and boring, earthy.
