Commercial Description:
Norwegian: Et lyst øl med en duft av hvetemalt og sitrus. Friskheten fra hvetemaltet og en lav bitterhet, gjør produktet lettdrikkelig. Nytes best kald!

English: A pale beer with an aroma of wheat malt and citrus. The freshness from the wheat malt and a low bitterness makes this an easy to drink beer. Best enjoyed cold!

Bottle. Fluffy head, probably due to the wheat malt. Some soft wheat character, a little citrus, more orange than lemon. Refreshing, quite all right, should be fine after a long day on the slopes.

Big offwhite head. Yellow body. Apple, malts, and butter aroma with grassy notes. Dry-sweetish buttery malty taste with grassy notes. Light-bodied. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Dryish papery grassy aftertaste. Very heavy on the paper, but still a decent enough beer. (0.33l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Clear yellow with a white head. Some maltiness in the nose. Rather thin and watery with dry malty notes. No real hops to be found. 210309

330 ml bottle. Pale golden colour. Medium-sized white coarse head. Mellow malt aroma with some crisp floral hops. Rounded grainy malt flavours at first then sharp carbonation and more floral hops. Light-bodied. Finishes with a distinct drying hop bitterness. Easy-drinking lager, but there is way too much carbonation in there. The malt flavours and the hops are quite nice though.

330 ml clear bottle, thanks to Ole_R. Pale yellow colour, big head. Heineken-like aroma (an American would say "skunked") - Heineken is slightly better though, hints of citrus and maize baby porridge. The flavour is slightly lemony and wheaty, and could probably be called "refreshing" if drunk colder than I did. Minimal hops. Soft and thin mouthfeel. After a long day of skiing (or other open air activities) I would want a better beer than this one, that’s for sure.

Bottle, thx to Ole_R. It pours a clear, rather pale golden body, with a small, dense head. There’s a crisp hoppy touch to the aroma, and an almost bready maltyness, which surprised me quite a lot, I expected a beer with almost no aroma. It’s grassy and grainy too, and some lemony notes. Thin on the palate with a flavor of lemon doing a fair share of the work, along with grainy malt and some grassy hops giving it a little bitterness. Sweetish towards the finish, with both lemony sourness, pale malt and a little bitterness. Sure, I can imagine the beer being a refresher in the sun after a long day in the snow, but if I have a choice, I doubt this is the one I will choose. And one more thing, I hope they’re not thinking the design will help selling the beer. Or is it just me?(080422)
