Courtesy of Yngwie. It’s a red-brown beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and nuts. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, nuts and hints of licorice. It’s a nice surprise – it’s a nice Bayer!

Aug 17, 2008 33cl bottle from Meny. It poured a dark amber colour with a big white creamy head that settles down slowly in the glass. The aroma smells of malts and caramel. It has a sweet flavour that tastes of malts and water. It has a short and bitter aftertaste.

Mar 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, caremel and some metal. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with toasted malt, caramel and some bitter hops. Sweet bit dry finish. Thanks Yngvie!

Jan 20, 2008 500ml can. Clear red/brown body with a huge off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and slightly roasted caramel. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt and balanced fine bitter finish. The best of the “bayer” style in Norway.
