Gromit (450), Port Orchard, Washington, USA Feb 28, 2004 A very typical example of the style, only a bit better. Actually, it's a very good example.
Pours a brown color with a decent head leaving some lacing. As it warms, it reminds me of a cola that has lost the carbonation.
Smells of a toasted malt with a faint hint of hops.
Taste is typical. Again, toasted (okay, roasted) malts. Some fruits are present as well. Coffee teases the tongue.
Mouthfeel is better than average as it's a bit fuller than usual and it has a nice mineral mouthfeel. Drinkability is pretty good as well.
This is one of the best bocks I've had and well worth the search.
