Pale orange copper. Air bubbles coated the sides of my glass. I could hear the bubbles popping. Sounded like Rice Krispies. Plain malty aroma and some dusty cardboard. Butternut flavor and fizzy palate. A half-aass Vienna compared to Aass Juleol.

Mellow full-bodied lager with a feel of wheat malt, even though the label says that only barley malt was used. A little darker than a regular lager. Not bad, but also not very interesting.

Very wheaty indeed and malty...notes of caramel as it warms. Slightly sour at the end too. We drank our aasses from the bottle as we sat our asses on the couch.

Brown color. Good head. Not too much hops, but strong on the wheat, yeast, malt flavors.

Nice hop aroma together with a bit honeyish malt. Beautiful red amber, good creamy head. aromahops and malt fit well together. A bit watery finish. Thanks Sigmund!

Beautiful light amber color with a bountiful head. Sour apple/lager smell with similar flavor. Very crisp with an empty lager-type finish. Tastes silimilar to a yuengling but maltier with a sour apple kick.

Ooh, this is a pleasant surprise. A rather sweet, malty lager that is nothing like a pils. A wee bit fizzy, yet the head fades fast for some reason! Tastes darker than it looks. The color is copper-ish. Three malts do the heavy lifting (pilsner, munich and caramel), in case you give a damn. A ’classic’ indeed! One of my favorite session beers.
