This is a Vienna-style brew. Also it’s probably my favorite lager. A nice amber appearance. Nose is a mix of fruit (apples mostly) malt and a whif of spice. Very smooth and drinkable. Cost is the only negative it’s over $12 per six pack where I live. Re-Rate: I have to drop the numbers just a bit. It’s hard to rate a lager (albiet, a very good one) at a 4.0 or above. Another RE-RATE: I am growing tired of this beer despite really liking it intially. Now I find it lacking a bit in flavor.

For a lager, it isn’t that great, even for a Vienna Style lager. This is certainly not the best Norway has to offer and I would recommend against seeking this light malt, skunk nosed brew out. Seek out their Bock.

A very good lager beer. Very flavorful, enjoyable and smooth to the last drop. I recommend it to anyone who likes beers that are a little on the normal side. Great aroma to boot.

This beer blew my expectations away. A beer I buy often. Wonderfully complex nose, fruity and rich hop notes with a very generous, pleasing body. It is crisp and yet not ’just another lager’.

ABV in Norway is 4,5%. I’m sure the (slightly stronger) export version is even better, if you get it fresh. This beer is basically a pilsener (Saaz hops), but brewed with a certain amount of Munich malts to give it some of the rounded flavour of a Munich dunkel. Not a bad marriage, I’d say.

Is this a Vienna style lager? Its malty, with both a sweet aroma, caramel color and flavor. Virtually no bitterness. I drank it down rather quickly - and would be happy to have more (too bad I bought only one)!
