A wee bit fizzy, yet the head fades fast for some reason! Tastes darker than it looks. The color is copper-ish. Three malts do the heavy lifting (pilsner, munich and caramel), in case you give a damn. A ’classic’ indeed! One of my favorite session beers. RAUCHFEST (122), PROSPECT PARK, Pennsylvania, USA

I am normally not a fan of light lagers, but I am a fan of Aass classic lager. Very surprised this beer came out of Norway. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA

Sour apple/lager smell with similar flavor. Very crisp with an empty lager-type finish. Tastes silimilar to a yuengling but maltier with a sour apple kick. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA

Wonderfully complex nose, fruity and rich hop notes with a very generous, pleasing body. It is crisp and yet not ’just another lager’. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Although a lager, it is amber in color. Very drinkable with occasional malty flavors and little hop bitterness compared to the average lagers. It has a dry feel, and is very refreshing. joss (3685), Garching b. München, Germany
