Tried it on can and on cask in Hemsedal, Norway.
Golden color and a white head. Very fresh hoppy scent, much to my surprise. The taste came as the scent did, very hoppy compared to my expectations. Even though the name indeed sounds funny in the English language, it’s a nice well made beer. Easy to drink and enjoyable. After getting a bit drunk on the Viking party it was of course amazingly funny to shout "Nice Aass" and drink all night long...

Can. First of all; I have never understood the Norwegian habit of calling a canned or bottled beer Fatøl, ’Draught beer’ in english. That said, it is a clear, golden beer with a decent white head, no carbonation and nice lacings. Grainy aroma with some hay and hops. Flavor is lightly malty, grainy and with a hoppiness that feels artificial. Dry, fruity-bitter finish.Thin body. (060304)

Very pale lager. Unpaseurized, I don’t really know if it makes much of a difference. A nice little pils, full taste, malt and a pleasant ingling hoppy feeling. Among the best on the rather dreary Norwegian market.

Big head of fine lace, pale copper body with some ongoing carbonation. Nice aroma of pine-like hops, with notes of metal and grain. Crisp, clean taste of caramel malts; soft aftertaste of pine-like hops. Not that much taste to this one, but what there is is very clean and nice; for a Norwegian lager this is pretty good.

Light malty nose, along with some weak hops. Yellow colored beer, small white head. Sweet malty flavor. Boring.

Can. Clere golden colour with a small white head. Malty light hoppy aroma and a sweet malty taste. Light body and a sweet finish.

A light yellow beer with a white head. Both the aroma and the flavor are slightly sour from the use of brewing cereal - I don’t like brewing cereal.
