Medium body with roasted malt and lightly burned and ashy notes. Also has a little fruit and caramel. The finish is dry with a lightly burned bitterness. 220608

he best so far of the Aass Gourmet range. Some carmaels sweetness, a little spicy, rather soft beer. Fine head, some wheat malt probably adds to that.
Too thin and watery, I’d like to see a preium strength version of this.

Jun 24, 2008 Bottled. A red-brown beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal and caramel as well as lighter notes of nuts, leading to a dry bitter and metallic finish.

May 19, 2009 Bottle. High creamy and long lasting off-white head leaving nice long curtains. Clear dark ruby body. Mild and sweet roasted barley malt with a soapy note. Mild sweet roasted barley malt flavor with a bit of caramel cocoa and a spicy note. A bit watery. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.
