Nov 15, 2007 Bottled. Amber colour, rich head. Flowery caramel aroma. Medium swet with rounded mouthfeel. Resiny hops provide some bitterness, but it remains rather simple. Fairly wel balanced with some pleasing hop character, but I guess more practice is needed before an old lager brewery can make really good ales.

Sep 26, 2007 Bottle, bought @ MegaCoop in Moss, Norway. Pretty red-ish amber with a fine creamy beige-white head. Medium lacing. Aroma is malty caramel with some citric bitterness. Quite low carbonation. Flavour is mild, caramel, slight citric bitterness. Not very spectacular.

Aug 3, 2007 Nice red-golden with a weak aroma with caramel notes. The flavour has light caramel, malt, citrus/grapefruit and a fruity sweetness. Not very sophisticated, but probably good for the majority, for whom a beer just is something you drink... 2404

Jul 23, 2007 Updated: Jul 25, 2007(Bottle) Pours copper. Earthy and caramelly aroma with tones of hay and some light notes of fruits. Light fruity and light roasted flavour. A bit bitter. Rather smooth mouthfeel with a light body.

Flavor is a nice mix of chocolate/toffee and coffee.Thin to medium smouth roasted mouth feeling. Thin to medium finish. Nice try Aass.
