| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Bottle. 24 days past ’best before’. Pours a clear dark brown with a big frothy off-white/light brown head. Sweet malty aroma. Hops appear as it warms. Not very stout-like. Sweetish malty flavour. Finish is where this beer mostly resembles a stout; sweet, a bit roasted and with some alcohol. But feels rather thin. Overall this is more like a dark Czech or German-type beer than a stout. Still okay though, albeit not too interesting. 03-07-08. Papsoe (14997), Frederiksberg, Denmark
