Feels like a lager in mouth, bland caramel flavour profile with the thinnest chocolate hints. Very thin and watery. Nothing stoutish about this candy of a beer. cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland

Very dry with clean mouthfeel and muddled roasty malt flavours. Very subtle and understated. Low bitterness. A pale lager with some black malt? Maria (6318), Thisted, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Transparent brown/black with an OK head. The aroma is sweet and malty. The flavour is sweetish with a light bitterness and hints of chocolate, but the stout impression is very thin, and IMO it’s only interesting for beginners in this style. 2405

A little bit short and watery to be a top beer, but rich in taste (short) and looks great. rickgordon (3321), Göteborg, Sweden

Almost black colour. Low, brown head. Bit sweet in aroma, with hints of chocolate, without toastiness. Light flavour profile, lacking in actual flavour sensations, with barely noticed toast or chocolate. Mainly just sweet. Tannins were sensed.
