Aass Gourmet Weizen (Lys Hvete)

Pale golden with large white head - weak wheat taste, hints of citrus, hints of hop - short finish - ok drinkable, but was expecting more

08.04.2009, 0,5l Can. Colour is clear yellow. Firm white head, lively carbonated. Aroma is weak and there is no hops either. Taste and aftertaste is poor.

Bottled. Light golden in the glass with a thin white head. Sweet aroma, taste of citrus and malt.

Apperance; light golden and acctually clear weissbier, white head. Aroma of lemon and a small amount of wheat.

Bottle. A bit of white head. Doesn’t really look like a weissbier, it’s a bit too clear yellow for that. Sweet aroma, some citrus, hops, wheat and dry straw. Tastes distinct of citrus, a bit orange, some bitter hops. Although it isn’t a great weiss, it’s quite nice compared to the cost.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and light notes of straw.

Bottled BB 10/2008. Light amber color, small white head. Cardboardish, grainy aroma. Citrusy wheaty flavor, quite grainy. Not very fresh sample.

Bottled, thanks yngwie! Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is diarrhealike sweetness along with some caramel and wheat. Flavour is cooked vegetables, wheat and some caramel. Also some mild grassyness too.
