Clear, light copper body, so clearly a kristall-weizen. Sweetish, rubbery, metallic aroma with notes of wheat and flowers. Taste is again sweetish, earthy wheat with rubbery, hoppy notes. Thin and sharp mouthfeel for a weizen. Earthy, wheaty aftertaste, eventually turning papery. This is not a very weizen-like beer, but quite nice. Nothing major, though. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 27, 2007 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a big white head. Malty and bready aroma. Sweet malty flavours, some bread, strangely buttery finish. Slightly grainy texture. I do not find much (weissbier) character in this beer. Disappointment from Aass. Furseth (1333), Kungälv, Sweden

Sweet and juicy with light-medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. There’s no esters, so it remains more like a wheat ale, but then there is very little fruitines so my guess would be that it’s bottom fermenting... Low bitterness, rickgordon (3313), Göteborg, Sweden

Hazy yellow colour. Light, light aroma from...yes what? 20% wheat maybe. Low on most every thinkable aromas, but also without off-flavours. Slightly bitter. Good session beer for non tasters. plovmand (1726), Helsinge, Denmark

Fruity and citric aroma. Thin body. Flavour is like lager than weizen. Malty, fruity and a bit sour. OleR (2095), Oslo, Norway
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 21, 2007 Dense medium-sized white head over a clear and pale copper colored body. Mild wheaty aroma with scents of grassy and hayish hops. Vague notes of sweet citrus and metal. Taste is mild and moderately sweet. Mainly grain and wheat, also some light bittering hops. A little sourness in the aftertaste. Thin body. Short sourish end. A fair one, and quite refreshing, but not a genuine Kristallweizen, feels more like a decent macrolager with some wheat added.
