Maria (4344), Thisted, Denmark Jun 1, 2007 Beautiful red-brown color and a creamy head. The aroma is rather weak, but it does have notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour is quite sweet and has notes of roasted malt, caramel and a light bitterness, that develops and ends quite dry in the end. 2246

Info: 330ml bottle, 29/12-2006 Skinnyviking (2726), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 3, 2008 Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear dark ruby body. Roasted malt flavor with spices that I connot figure out but also with notes of raisin. Spicy and hoppy roasted malt flavor, pretty sweet and sugary though. Heavily carbonated and a long sugary aftertaste. Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 20, 2008 Sampled at BDR’s tasting and shared by akevitt. Pours a clear caramel brown amber brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and off-white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some dried prunes, raisin, some dark pitted fruits and some grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruits, raisin and a touch of vegetable. Finish is semi-dry with some raisin in the aftertaste that quickly disappears. OSLO (614), Minnesota, USA May 3, 2008 [Bottle, thanks Akevitt!] Pours clear cola-brown with a beige head. Aroma is reminiscent of spicy bread--very malt heavy. Taste has some grape, just like the klasse D, but also a lot of the maltiness. Somewhat thing with a long dry finish. Definitely better than the klasse D, but still below average. Enjoyit (1105), Vadum, Denmark May 3, 2008 Pale darkbrown of color with a off-white head. An aroma of raisins, prunes, sweets, caramel and sweets. A flavor of Caramel, hay, malt, and some dark fruits.
