Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Feb 2, 2009 330 ml bottle. Clear dark amber body with a fine beige head. Aroma of light burnt malt, caramel and a hint of spices. Traces of roasted malt in flavor as well and sweet caramel. Thin body, not very bitter and short finish. Totally drinkable but not very exiting. Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Nov 19, 2002 This "klasse D" Christmas brew has the colour of a brown ale, but is of course bottom fermented. Decent aroma of oak and some spices. Drinkable with a meal, on its own it’s just too watery to bring about any Christmas joy. Weak aftertaste. This style just calls for a higher ABV!
