| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 15, 2003 A new "klasse D" Christmas brew from Aass, much better than the "Julebrygg" they introduced last year. Beautiful deep copper colour, very good and thick head. Aroma of malts, oak and spices. Malty flavour, a bit thin as expected from a "klasse D" beer - still one of the best Norwegian beers of this ABV class. Sweet, but not too much. Decent. Furseth (1333), Kungälv, Sweden

Aroma of malyness and saaz hops in the end. Lots of malt and a little bit of bitternes in the finish. Medium body. larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2005 Big, offwhite, somewhat creamy head; deep dark red body. Sweet malty aroma with notes of straw- or grass-like hops. Taste is full of sweet malts initially, followed by sweet, caramel and chocolate malts, and relatively mild grassy hops. Overall, an OK beer. Ok for Christmas, ok for any other time. Not that interesting. gunnfryd (3603), Kristiansand, Norway
