Pours a clear dark amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has some spotty lacing and a slow dissipation. Aroma of slightly roasted caramel malt, some flowery hops, some slight raisin, and wheat bread. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a slight metallic texture with flavors of caramel malt and some mild bitterness. Finish is slight metallic with a mild bitter and caramel aftertaste. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 21, 2007 The motto "xmas lasts till Easter" came to my mind when I picked up the 330ml bottle at Fenaknoken in Oslo (BB:14.07.07). Mahogany coloured body, off-white head and hints of laceworks. Aroma has got some roasted notes. Vague, dark malty flavour added a light touch of caramel sweetness. Rather thin mouthfeel. Didn’t make me think of Yuletide (17.03.2007). Hansen (2281), Randers, Denmark
