| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Very soft soapy nose with a touch of crystal malt. Slightly spice and very soft on the palate that dissipates at the midpoint. Thin and oxidized finish. FrankJohansen (3369), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 9, 2006 Among the very best of the supermarket strenght Christmas beers. Full of malty sweetnes, but not overwhelmingly so. Still too thin - go for the full strength version if you can get it! WhiteAlePower (91), Long Island, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2006 To me, this is what a Norwegian beer is. They don’t smack you in the face, but have well rounded, very satisfying flavours. Decent head, nice colour, excellent flavour. Bottle. Bockyhorsey (2528), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2006 Aroma was like a maly powder to mix chocolate milk with. Brown body but held to light has a red hue. Small head normal whith christmas beers. Body was little thin. Malt all the way for the flavor of this one sometimes chalky. Dry aftertaste on palate.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 18, 2006 Bottle. Faintly dusty aroma. Clear, dark brown colour, no head. OK maltiness in flavour, a little coffee and a hint of cardboard. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is OK, but the mouthfeel is disappointing.
