Commercial Description:
Sweet, caramel aroma. Clean, crisp taste, and an almost dry aftertaste. Interesting and complex. Very flavorful with strong malt presence.

Very soft soapy nose with a touch of crystal malt. Slightly spice and very soft on the palate that dissipates at the midpoint. Thin and oxidized finish.

Bottle. Amber colour with a small creamy head and a fair lacing. Aroma and taste of malts, spices and fruits. Nice beer.

Bottle. 4.7 abv. Creamy off-white excellent mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Almost no aroma. Very soapy ugly flavor. Alas average finish. Watery palate. Really a bad beer.

Bottle. 2006 Christmas seasonal. Dark brown/amber, medium beige head. Surprisingly faint aroma, some flowery hops and notes of apples. Taste is dry malts, candysuger with a light hopbitterness. Watery palate. Short slight sweet finish.

Among the very best of the supermarket strenght Christmas beers. Full of malty sweetnes, but not overwhelmingly so. Still too thin - go for the full strength version if you can get it!

To me, this is what a Norwegian beer is. They don’t smack you in the face, but have well rounded, very satisfying flavours. Decent head, nice colour, excellent flavour. Bottle.

Aroma was like a maly powder to mix chocolate milk with. Brown body but held to light has a red hue. Small head normal whith christmas beers. Body was little thin. Malt all the way for the flavor of this one sometimes chalky. Dry aftertaste on palate.

Bottle. Faintly dusty aroma. Clear, dark brown colour, no head. OK maltiness in flavour, a little coffee and a hint of cardboard. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is OK, but the mouthfeel is disappointing.
